Wasn't General Conference amazing?!?
We hope each of you had the opportunity to watch and listen to the words of the Lord through His servants. The spirit was so strong as each speaker bore strong testimony, and gave inspired counsel.
Were you able to hear Elder Russell M. Nelson speak about the importance of Women?
He said, "We need women who have a bedrock understanding of the doctrine of Christ and who will use that understanding to teach and help raise a sin-resistant generation. We need women who can detect deception in all of its forms. We need women who know how to access the power that God makes available to covenant keepers and who express their beliefs with confidence and charity."
How can we become the women Elder Nelson is talking about?

President Eyring spoke about the importance and blessing of the Holy Ghost in our lives.
"As you obey, the impressions from the Spirit will come more frequently, closer and closer to constant companionship. Your power to choose the right will increase."
When was the last time you felt an impression from the Spirit and acted on it?
What is one thing that will help you have the Spirit more in your life?
Our beloved prophet, Thomas S. Monson reminded us of the importance of having the light of Christ in our eyes.
"Be ye examples of the believers: in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in purity..."
"As the world moves further and further away from the principles and guidelines given to us by a loving Heavenly Father, we will stand out from the crowd because we're different...These things which make us different from most of the world also provide us with that light and that spirit which will shine in an increasingly dark world...As we make Christ the center of our lives, our fears will be replaced by the courage of our convictions."
We are so grateful for each of you, and the examples you are to all around you. We know that as we listen and head the words we heard at conference, we will be protected from the adversary, we will become the women our Father in Heaven needs us to be, we will be more guided by the Spirit to bless those around us, and we WILL be examples of the believers.
